Oh maaaan. This is gonna be hard. With today being Meg’s last day at SF (even though she has a few more videos left with SF), I’ll write this now :)
When I entered high school, I didn’t see many female YouTubers who I could look up to. It was mostly male dominated. I took another look after I finished a year of college, and found SF, and encountered some pretty incredible female role models, like Miss Meg.
Meg, you are so bright, funny, talented, outgoing, genuine, and just all around incredible. I have never been into video games (and still not) but listening to you talk about video games and seeing your passion for it was always so cool. Every video you do on your personal channel, you’re always so genuine with everything. Nothing seemed half-assed. You have given me so much insight on the world. I’m really excited to see what you do next. I can see you being the go-to lady on YouTube for everything Anime and Cosplay :) I know we’ll be seeing you on your personal channel, but I will miss you so much on SourceFed.
I’ll end with a quote from one of my favorite plays “Peter and the Starcatcher”:
"[Goodbyes] are supposed to hurt. That’s how you know it meant something."
